Cabaret hedgehog
The cabaret hedgehog was from the same club cabaret Igel eV in Buxtehude conferred award for outstanding comedian and songwriter , he is also known as "cabaret Buxtehuder hedgehog". It consisted of the symbolic figure of the city of Buxtehude, the "hedgehog" designed in metal by Ruth Albrecht, and was endowed with 2500 euros.
Even if the Kleinkunst-Igel is no longer awarded, the association founded in 1972 (at that time still under the name "III. Program") and renamed in 1979 still exists and organizes numerous appearances with known and still unknown artists in Buxtehude every year. In the summer of 2007 Dörte Joost was elected chairwoman of the association.
