history

After the new owner of the Budischau estate , Joachim Ritter von Stettenhofen , had the Bítovec forest on the plateau near Kamenná cleared and cultivated as arable land, he founded a new colony on 41 acres in 1799 because of the long distance to the nearest Meierhof named to his son Clemens. Klementitz originated in a slight depression and was surrounded by wooded valleys. The 19 family members each received six bushels of land, for which 6 guilders house tax had to be paid. The oldest local seal dates from 1801 and shows a crossed spade and hoe with the inscription "KLEMENTITZER GEMENDT". When the French invaded during the Napoleonic Wars , Klementitz remained undiscovered by enemy troops in 1805 and then served as a refuge for cattle and belongings from neighboring towns. In 1840 a small chapel was built opposite the row of houses.

In 1842 the village of Klementitz or Klementice in the Iglauer Kreis consisted of 20 houses in which 130 people lived, including 7 Protestants HB . The parish was Budischau. Until the middle of the 19th century, Klementitz remained subject to the allodial rule of Budischau.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Klementice / Klementitz 1849 a district of the market town Tasov in the judicial district of the United Meziříčí . From 1869 Klementice belonged to the Groß Meseritsch district . At that time the village had 104 inhabitants and consisted of 20 houses. In 1900 there were 98 people living in Klementice; In 1910 there were 92. In the 1921 census, 90 Czechs lived in the 20 houses in the village. In 1930 Klementice consisted of 20 houses and 77 inhabitants. Between 1939 and 1945 Klementice / Klementitz belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia .

In 1950 Klementice had 57 inhabitants. On January 1, 1960, the change to Kamenná took place . In the course of territorial reform and the repeal of the Okres Velké Meziříčí, Klementice was assigned to the Okres Třebíč on July 1, 1960 .
