Kneipe is a district of the village of Schwerz in the city of Landsberg in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

Kneipe is located northeast of Schwerz and southeast of Dammendorf . State road 143 (L 143) runs through the village.

history

On a road between “Prussia” and the Duchy of Saxony , a customs post with an inn called Zur Krone was built. The street that leads from Schwerz to Kneipe still bears the name Zur Zollstation as a reminder . Over time, some houses were built there. The place name pub did not emerge until the 18th or 19th century.

With the Peace of Tilsit , Schwerz and Dammendorf with pub were incorporated into the Kingdom of Westphalia in 1807 and assigned to the Halle district in the Saale department. They belonged to the canton of Oppin . With the incorporation of Dammendorf on July 1, 1950, Kneipe was incorporated into Schwerz, now assigned to the hall circle , which came to the reduced hall circle in the Halle district on July 25, 1952 . Schwerz was incorporated into Landsberg with Dammendorf and Kneipe on January 1, 2010.
