Krass Klassenfahrt is a German web series that is a comedic and satirical adaptation of scripted reality soaps. The idea for the series comes from the web video producers Jonas Ems and Jonas Wuttke .
The seventh season was released on June 22, 2020 on the video-on-demand provider Joyn . In March 2020 it was announced that the series had been extended up to and including a ninth season.

The focus of the series is on pupils of a twelfth grade who are on a class trip lasting several days and their experiences there. In the style of scripted reality , the documentary scenes are strongly exaggerated and mockingly imitated.

Production staff
While the first two seasons were personally produced by web video producers Jonas Ems and Jonas Wuttke, the web series has been produced by moonvibe GmbH , which was founded in June 2019, since the third season . However, since Joyn is only available in Germany, foreign viewers could only access the web series in the secondary exploitation . In September 2019 it was announced that the media company Pantaflix will publish the fourth and fifth seasons of the web series in the new advertising video-on-demand offering. The former was published on Pantaflix every Thursday from October 10 to 31, 2019 and the latter every Friday from December 6 to 27, 2019. Three new episodes each were made available for download. Joyn secured the first exploitation rights of the sixth season and released all twelve episodes of the season on March 2, 2020. The shooting of the sixth season took place in February 2020 in Galhausen , Belgium . The secondary exploitation on the YouTube channel of the same name began on the same day, with a new episode available for viewing on Mondays and Fridays. Philipp Walulis stated in his web show Walulis that Krass Klassenfahrt was well produced as a web series. The creators would have understood very well how a scripted reality soap works.
