history
At the beginning of the 12th century Krimmensen was mentioned in the copy book of the Corvey monastery as Crymmenhusen . In addition to Eilensen ( Eilenhusen ) and Relliehausen ( Regilinchusen ), Krimmensen was one of the places that were mentioned during the time in office of Erkenbert during a transfer of goods to a certain Mrs. Hoburge . They were located in an area already ruled by Reinold I. von Dassel ( Reinholdi, in cuius comitatu ), so that this was confirmed in this document.
In the early modern times, the gentlemen of Oldershausen and Garmissen were wealthy in Krimmensen. In 1800 there were 28 fireplaces here, as was determined on the occasion of a visitation in the wake of the fire regulations issued by Bishop Friedrich Wilhelm von Hildesheim in 1775 .
The Krimmensen Voluntary Fire Brigade was founded in 1934.
Krimmensen was incorporated into the city of Dassel on March 1, 1974.
