history

The team was founded in 2002 as a franchise for the first-ever Atlantic Coast Hockey League . In this they finished third in their debut season and were eliminated in the playoffs in round one. After the league was dissolved after only one year, the team moved to the World Hockey Association 2 , in which they finished third after the regular season and in the playoffs in the final the Jacksonville Barracudas in the best-of-three Series with 0: 2 victories was defeated. Following the 2004/05 season, the Macon Trax franchise was dissolved.
