chapel
The St. Anna Chapel has been rebuilt several times and is now presented in a decidedly modest simplicity.
The chapel was built next to a courtyard founded in 1326 as a single-storey prayer room. In the strength of the walls one can see a protective function against robbers. According to Letzner , it is said to have been donated by the Lords of Luthardessen . The height of the building was roughly doubled in the 15th century. In the 16th century the choir was added to the east side. The windows were enlarged to their present size in the 18th century. At the same time, the door was moved from the south-east to the south-west side. The national church was 1985, the sandstone roof replaced with a tile roof.
Cross stone
A cross stone has been set up near the chapel. The worked sandstone shows a Latin cross along with a tail and a six and another cross on the back.
Club life
Eilensen has formed a sports community with Ellensen and Krimmensen since 1949 , the SV Victoria .

Between 1883 and 2003 the Ilmebahn , a 13.1 km long, single-track railway line, connected Dassel and Einbeck; until 2004 still Markoldendorf and Einbeck. On May 31, 1975 the passenger traffic and on December 20, 2002 also the freight traffic was stopped and the line was closed . The next train station is now Einbeck Mitte , served by the RB 86 line .
