Movie review

Manfred Riepe praises the director in epd Film magazine , because in this entertaining film Oldenburg says something more than that the ball is round and the game lasts 90 minutes: "This film conveys itself to those who normally don't care about football."

On Spiegel Online , Peter Ahrens criticizes that one learns little about the main character, even if Kroos is constantly in the picture. "What he thinks about the world, about the football business, about the things in life, does not reveal itself even after an hour and a half on the big screen (...) The deeper the film goes, the less important Toni Kroos appears."
