Kutschgeteich Moritzburg are a nature reserve (NSG) in the district of Meißen in Saxony . The approximately 14.14  hectare area with the NSG no. D 100 is in the Saxon community of Moritzburg .

An ordinance issued by the Dresden Regional Council on December 13, 2001 established the area as a nature reserve.

description

The area comprises an important wetland area with many small-scale biotopes, such as B. near-natural small bodies of water, reed beds , large sedge beds , wet meadows rich in sedge and rushes, wet bushes and cave-rich individual trees. Furthermore, the area is a regionally important breeding and feeding area for rare swamp and water birds.
