The Zschorna pond area is a nature reserve (NSG) in the district of Meißen in Saxony . The 314.74 hectare area with NSG no. D 04 is located in the Saxon community of Thiendorf , north of the Zschorna district .
The nature reserve was established by the resolutions of the Dresden District Council of September 1, 1954 and number 261/76 of December 15, 1976 (Commun. State Organ No. 3/77).
