Lézigné is a village and a former French community with 765 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the Canton of Angers-6 (until 2015: Canton Durtal ).

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Huillé and Lézigné were merged to form Commune nouvelle Huillé-Lézigné , where they have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are located in Lésigné.

geography

Lézigné is located on the left bank of the Loir , about 30 kilometers northeast of Angers and 70 kilometers southwest of Le Mans .
