La Guyonnière is a village and a former French commune with 2,738 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Montaigu . The inhabitants are called Guyon (ne) s .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Boufféré , La Guyonnière , Montaigu , Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu and Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Montaigu-Vendée and have the status of a commune in the new municipality déléguée . The administrative headquarters are in Montaigu.

La Guyonnière is located about 38 kilometers south-southeast of Nantes . La Guyonnière is surrounded by the villages of Treize-Septiers in the north and northeast, La Boissière-de-Montaigu in the east and southeast, Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu in the south and southwest, Montaigu in the west and Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay in the Northwest.
The former Route nationale 753 runs through the municipality .
