Labertal cycle path
The Labertal cycle path is a 38 km long long- distance cycle path along the small Laber in Bavaria.
Route
The Labertal-Radweg leads from Neufahrn in Niederbayern through the valley of the Kleine Laber northeast to Straubing . The valley is wide and heavily used for agriculture. Places worth seeing along the cycle path are Mallersdorf , the Mallersdorf monastery and the old town of Geiselhöring .
From Neufahrn i. NB. From there you can continue on the Laber-Abens-Radweg to Abensberg or via the Isar-Laber-Radweg to the Isarradweg to Landshut. In Straubing there is a connection to the international Danube Cycle Path .
State of development
The well-signposted cycle path is almost flat, runs on an asphalt route and side streets with little traffic. It is part of the Bavarian network for cyclists.
