Location Thunberg
Lage Thunberg (born March 22, 1905 in Mörlunda , † September 28, 1997 in Lidingö ) was a Swedish lieutenant general .
Life
Lage Thunberg grew up in the province of Kalmar and joined the Swedish infantry in 1926. In 1933 he switched to the air force. During his service he was commander of the officers' school (1939-1943), head of the F 13 unit in Norrköping / Bråvalla from 1944 to 1947 and commander of the 3rd Flygeskadern from 1958 to 1960. From 1961 to 1968 he was commander of the Swedish air force and left Retired in 1977.
