Kent Harrskog

Kent Holger Harrskog (born November 11, 1944 in Finspångs köping) is a former Swedish lieutenant general .

Life

In 1967 Harrskog was promoted to ensign and in 1969 a pilot in the F 7 squadron in Såtenäs ( Skaraborgs län ). In 1969 he became a test pilot in Linköping , and from 1976 to 1978 he completed the staff officer course at the military academy. In 1981 he became head of flight operations for the F 13 association in Norrköping . In 1983 he moved to the Air Force Staff, from 1987 to 1988 he studied at the US Air War College and the National Defense Academy. In 1988 he was first deputy commodore of the F 21 association in Luleå , and later its commodore. After a further use as head of the north Swedish defense sector, he was appointed Commander of the Air Force in 1994. From 1998 to 2000 he also headed the southern defense division and was then military advisor to the Ministry of Defense until 2005.
