Mats Evald Nilsson (born December 30, 1956 in Västerås ) is a Swedish lieutenant general a. D.

Life

Mats Nilsson was trained as a military pilot at the Krigsflygsskola in Ljungbyhed from 1977 and joined the F17 association in Ronneby / Kallinge Blekinge in 1979 . 1982 followed by training to become a test pilot in Linköping . He then also completed the American test pilot training in Patuxent River .

1991 to 1993 Nilsson was trained as a general staff officer and in 1994 promoted to lieutenant colonel; In 1997 he took over the association F16 in Uppsala .
