Claes Henrik Nordenskiöld

Claes-Henrik Nordenskiöld (born July 28, 1917 in Stockholm , † November 11, 2003 in Guadalmina, Spain) was a Swedish major general .

Life

Nordenskiöld was trained as a military pilot and promoted to ensign in 1941 . He was employed as assistant to the defense attaché in Washington from 1943 to 1945 and then head of the air force bombing and shooting school from 1954 to 1956 and commander of the F10 squadron in Ängelholm ( Scania ) from 1960 to 1962.

From 1966 to 1970 he was Chief of Staff of the Air Force and in 1968 Deputy Chief of the Air Force, as its commander he acted temporarily for three months.

His father Bengt Nordenskiöld was Chief of the Air Force from 1942 to 1954.
