The Landesmusikrat Brandenburg e.V. is the umbrella organization and advocacy of over 45 music associations, clubs and institutions in Brandenburg in charge of this country Landesmusikrat . Neumann , who headed the association from 1992 to 2013 as President.
The regional music council maintains three regional ensembles. As early as 1992, the State Music Council founded the State Youth Choir Brandenburg , whose repertoire ranges from traditional vocal music to various sacred and secular choral literature from all musical epochs. The Brandenburg State Youth Accordion Orchestra has existed since 1997 as a funding project for particularly talented young accordion players. It is carried in cooperation with the German Harmonica Association, Brandenburg State Association. The Landesjugendzupforchester Brandenburg-Berlin has existed since 1995 as a support measure for particularly talented young mandolinists and guitarists.
The Brandenburg State Music Council is a member of the German Music Council . In addition, he is represented in the Broadcasting Council of Rundfunks Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) and in the radio working group of the German Music Council.

The Brandenburg State Music Council represents the cultural and political interests of its members in Brandenburg and advises political cultural institutions and members of parliament.
