State government Josef Krainer senior I
The state government Josef Krainer sen. I is the third provincial government of Styria in the second republic . It was founded on July 6, 1948 by successor Josef Krainer senior (ÖVP) after the resignation of Governor Anton Pirchegger (ÖVP) for health reasons . It existed until the end of the legislative period on November 12, 1949. According to the proportional system , five SPÖ mandates were awarded in addition to the five ÖVP mandates .
Two new state councilors were appointed under the new governor Josef Krainer senior . Ferdinand Prirsch (ÖVP) and Franz Thoma (ÖVP). Josef Hollersbacher (ÖVP) resigned as regional councilor.
