The state government Josef Krainer sen. VI was appointed by the Landtag of Styria after the Styrian state elections in 1965 . It existed from April 7, 1965 to April 6, 1970. According to the proportional system , four SPÖ mandates were awarded in addition to the five ÖVP mandates .
