State government Josef Krainer junior II
The state government Josef Krainer junior II was appointed by the Styrian state parliament on October 21, 1981 after the state elections in Styria in 1981 . Josef Krainer junior's state government existed until re-election on October 18, 1986. Despite an absolute majority in parliament, due to the system of proportional representation, in addition to the five (from January 11, 1985 six) ÖVP mandates, four SPÖ mandates were awarded.
On January 11, 1985, ÖVP Provincial Councilor Kurt Jungwirth was promoted to Deputy Governor. Franz Hasiba moved up as regional councilor.
