State government Josef Krainer senior II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The provincial government Josef Krainer senior II forms the Styrian provincial government under Josef Krainer senior in the II legislative period . The state government was elected by the Styrian state parliament on November 12, 1949 and subsequently sworn in. The state government included nine people, with the government seats after the state election in 1949 in the proportional system were awarded. After the result of the state elections, the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ) each had four members in the government, and another member was sent by the Independent Party (WdU). The state government Josef Krainer senior II was in office until April 15, 1953, when it was replaced by the state government Josef Krainer senior III .

During the reign there was only one change in the state government. Ludwig Oberzaucher (SPÖ) left the state government on February 15, 1950 and was replaced on the same day by his party colleague Maria Matzner .

Josef Krainer senior received 38 out of 47 votes in his secret election as governor, whereby the remaining votes were invalid. The provincial governor's deputies and the provincial councilors, however, were elected in an open vote.
