State government Steinböck III
The provincial government Steinböck III formed the Lower Austrian provincial government during the VI. Legislative period from November 10, 1954 to June 4, 1959. It succeeded the Steinböck II state government . After the state elections on October 17, 1954 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) provided four government members and the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) three government members. The government team initially entered the new legislative period unchanged compared to the previous government. The only change in the composition of the government came in October 1957. Hans Brachmann (SPÖ) resigned as member of the state council on October 15, 1957 and was replaced by Emmerich Wenger on October 24, 1957 .
