State government Ludwig II

The provincial government Ludwig II formed the Lower Austrian provincial government during the XII. Legislative period from November 4, 1983 to November 17, 1988. It followed Ludwig I's state government . After the state elections on October 16, 1983 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) provided five government members and the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) four government members. The only government reshuffle took place in May 1986. The previous Deputy Governor Leopold Grünzweig (SPÖ) resigned from office on May 14, 1986. As his successor, the previous Provincial Councilor Ernst Höger was elected Deputy Governor on the following day . Franz Slawik moved into the government as the new state councilor . At the same time as Grünzweig, Erwin Schauer (ÖVP) resigned from office on May 14th. He was succeeded on May 15th by Vinzenz Höfinger .
