State government Steinböck IV

The regional government Steinböck IV formed the Lower Austrian regional government during the first half of the seventh legislative period. The term of office of the Steinböck state government lasted from June 4, 1959 until the death of Governor Johann Steinböck on January 14, 1962 or until the Figl II government was sworn in under Governor Leopold Figl on January 31, 1962. After the state elections on May 10, 1959 the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) provided four government members, the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) provided three government members. During the term of office of the Steinböck IV government, there were several changes in the composition of the state government. After the death of Deputy Governor August Kargl (ÖVP) on January 6, 1960, the previous Provincial Councilor Viktor Müllner was sworn in as Deputy Governor on January 28, 1960. At the same time, Rudolf Hirsch moved up as state councilor that day . After Regional Councilor Felix Stika resigned from office on June 15, 1960, Otto Tschadek was sworn in as his successor on June 23, 1960. Franz Popp (SPÖ) resigned from his position as Deputy Governor on October 12, 1960, whereupon Otto Tschadek was promoted to Deputy Governor on October 13, 1960. Emil Kuntner was sworn in as the new state councilor on October 13th .
