State government mason IV
The provincial government Maurer IV formed the Lower Austrian provincial government in the first half of the XI. Legislative period from April 19, 1979 until the resignation of Governor Andreas Maurer on January 22, 1981. The state government succeeded the state government Maurer III . After the state elections on March 25, 1979 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) provided four government members and the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) three government members. During the term of office there were several changes in the government composition. Matthias Bierbaum (ÖVP) resigned his mandate on March 27, 1980, and was succeeded by Erwin Pröll on the same day as regional councilor. Deputy Governor Hans Czettel died on September 27, 1980. Leopold Grünzweig was elected in the wake on 9 October 1980 by the National Council for Deputy Governor. The last change came after Karl Schneider (ÖVP) resigned from his mandate on October 2, 1980. On October 9, 1980, Ernst Höger moved from the state parliament to the state government for him. After Andreas Maurer withdrew, the state government Ludwig I was sworn in on January 22, 1981 .
