The village corridor was settled early, as prehistoric finds (stone ax and flint ax) indicate. In 1232, when the area belonged to Bohemia , half of the village, then called Volueramesdorf , was donated to the diocese of Meißen by the burgrave Otto I von Dohna . Between 1262 and 1559 the entire village belonged to the diocese, then it was taken over by the Electorate of Saxony by means of an exchange agreement and from then on belonged to the Stolpen office . In 1434 it was mentioned as Wolframstorff and in 1586 as Langen Wulmßdorff . In the 17th century Langenwolmsdorf was the largest village in the Stolpen district.
At this time a sheep farm in 1586, the accessory of the rule Stolpen, later of was established in Langenwolmsdorf, Vorwerk Rennersdorf and 1874 the city was Stolpen.
In 1877 the place was connected to the Neustadt – Dürrröhrsdorf railway line . On April 19, 1945, 11 people were killed when a passing passenger train was shot at by Allied airmen.
The Luschdorf desert still exists on the village corridor.
