Larry Donnell Nance Jr. (born January 1, 1993 in Akron , Ohio ) is an American basketball player . Since 2018 he has been under contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the US professional league NBA .

Career

Nance Jr. was drafted with the 27th first-round pick by the Los Angeles Lakers on June 25, 2015 . On November 6, 2015, he made his NBA debut against the Brooklyn Nets . He scored six points and five rebounds. His previous career best was against the Detroit Pistons on March 5, 2018, with 22 points. In February 2018, Nance Jr. was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers along with Jordan Clarkson . In honor of his father, he wears his old shirt number 22 with the Cavaliers.

His father Larry Nance was also a basketball player in the NBA and played for the Phoenix Suns and the Cleveland Cavaliers .
