Lars Grözinger (born June 11, 1993 in Stuttgart ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Moskitos Essen in the ice hockey league since the 2018/19 season .

Career

In his youth, Grözinger played for various clubs such as SC Bietigheim-Bissingen , the Red Devils Bad Nauheim , the Young Eagles Mannheim , as well as the Krefelder EV . With the young eagles Mannheim he was able to celebrate two DNL titles in 2009 and 2010 and in the 2010/11 season he was top scorer in the DNL tied with Daniel Fischbuch and Christian Kretschmann .

Born in Stuttgart, he played Crimmitschau in the DNL for Krefeld before moving to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga for the Eispiraten and in his third DNL year he scored an impressive 29 goals in 36 games for the KEV and prepared a further 31 goals. With the Eispiraten, he played 96 Bundesliga games in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. He got seven goals and twelve assists.

For the 2013/14 season, Grözinger moved to the Füchsen Duisburg in the ice hockey league and was a fixture in this team during this time. At the end of the 2017/18 season, Grözinger switched to Moskitos Essen.

International

In 2011, at the age of 17, Grözinger was, alongside Tobias Rieder , Daniel Fischbuch and Leo Pföderl, a participant and scorer (one goal and two assists) at the 2011 U18 World Junior Championship in April 2011 and finished sixth with the German team.
