The Laubbichel (also Laubbühl ) in the district of Weißenburg in the Bavarian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen is 635.7 m above sea level. NHN high mountain of the Franconian Alb and in front of the Steinberg ( 624.7 m ), on the plain ( 624.2 m ) and the Wülzburger Berg ( 620 m ) the highest peak in the south of the Franconian Alb . It is the fourth highest elevation in the district and the highest in the east of the district.

The Laubbichel is located in the northwest part of the Altmühltal Nature Park in the Weißenburger Alb , a western part of the southern Franconian Alb . It rises south of the valley of the Bösbach ( Rohrbach , Klingenbach ), a tributary of the Felchbach . To the northwest of the partly wooded mountain lies Kehl , to the east of Oberhochstatt , both of which belong to Weißenburg, the city center of which lies around 3.5 km (as the crow flies ) west of the elevation. The west-southwest neighboring mountain is the Wülzburger Berg ( 620 m ) with the Wülzburg .
Parts of the nature reserve protection zone in the Altmühltal nature park are located on the Laubbichel ( CDDA no. 396115; 1965; 1632.96 km² ).
