Lautlose Jagd is an early evening series of the ARD , which was broadcast in two seasons of 13 episodes in 1966/67 and 1970 and was broadcast for the first time on the regional program of West German Broadcasting . The black and white series was produced by aurora television GmbH in Hamburg and produced in the Bendestorf film studio .

The focus of this crime series is the hunting warden Poelzig, portrayed by Joachim Rake . Once fled from the GDR , he has built a new life in the Federal Republic . He helps foresters track down poachers and is also available to the police when it comes to tracking down criminals of all kinds.

Others

Some episodes are designed as flashbacks in the First and Second World War , in which Poelzig's figure does not appear. The scripts were written by various authors, including Rolf and Alexandra Becker , who published several stories in the book Traces in the Moos .

The first season was usually 14 days apart, the second season was broadcast weekly. Filming locations were among others the Eifel and the Lüneburg Heath . Horst Niesters had an advisory role during the shooting .
