Legio XXVIII

The Legio XXVIII was a legion of the Roman army that was founded in 49 BC. BC was set up by Caesar for the civil war. The legion symbol is unknown.

The Legion was founded by Caesar in 47/46 BC. Used against the followers of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus in the province of Africa .

After the double battle of Philippine (42 v. Chr.)
