Leon Seidel
Leon Seidel (born November 22, 1996 in Cologne ) is a German actor and radio play speaker . In 2008 he stood in front of the camera for the first time at the age of eleven. He was best known for the role of Huckleberry Finn in the 2011 film Tom Sawyer .
Life
Seidel thinks he inherited his acting talent from his father Heiko Seidel , who is a member of a cabaret group . He made his debut in 2008 in the movie Berlin 36 alongside Karoline Herfurth and Axel Prahl . In the same year he subsequently played Helge in the German mockumentary series Stromberg . In 2010 he played Felix in the youth film Teufelskicker . A year later he starred in Tom Sawyer to Huck Finn . A year later, the sequel The Adventures of Huck Finn followed , in which he embodied the title hero. He is also active as a speaker, including in the radio plays for his film appearances as Huck Finn.
After filming The Adventures of Huck Finn , which opened in German cinemas in December 2012, Leon Seidel returned to the 9th grade of secondary school in the 2012/2013 school year. At that time he lived with his parents in Cologne-Sürth . After that, he continued his acting career. In 2014, he played a 13-year-old student in the television film The Chosen , who was abused by the headmaster at the Odenwald School in the 1970s . In 2015 he met again with Louis Hofmann , who played Tom Sawyer at his side in two films . In the Danish feature film Unter dem Sand - The Promise of Freedom , the two can be seen in the roles of young German prisoners of war in Denmark who have to take part in the mine search in order to achieve freedom.
