Les Thuiles is a French municipality with 397 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the arrondissement of Barcelonnette and the canton of Barcelonnette . The inhabitants call themselves the Thuilois .

geography

The community is located in the French Maritime Alps . It is surrounded by the communes of Les Orres in the north, Saint-Pons in the east, Uvernet-Fours in the south-west and Méolans-Revel in the west. The Ubaye flows through Les Thuiles . 969 hectares of the municipality mark are forested. The highest point in the municipality is the summit of the Grande Séolane at 2909  m .
