NGC 6150 is a galaxy of Hubble type E? in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky . It is an estimated 397 million light years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light years in diameter. Together with PGC 58100 it forms the galaxy pair Holm 748 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6145 , NGC 6146 , NGC 6147 , NGC 6160 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 18, 1787 .
