NGC 6145 is a 14.4 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Hercules . It is estimated to be 392 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 90,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 6141 and NGC 6146 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on May 12, 1828 .
