NGC 6136 is a 14.8 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 427 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 115,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy NGC 6143 .
The object was discovered on July 6, 1886 by Lewis A. Swift .
