NGC 6114 is a 14.4 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Corona Borealis in the northern sky . It is an estimated 395 million light years from the Milky Way and about 140,000 light years in diameter. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6108 , NGC 6110 , NGC 6112 , NGC 6116 .
The object was discovered on July 10, 1880 by Édouard Stephan .
