NGC 6119 is a 15.3 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Corona Borealis . It is an estimated 417 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 6117 , NGC 6120 , NGC 6122 , NGC 6129 .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on April 27, 1827 .
