NGC 6144 = IC 4606 is a globular cluster of concentration class XI in the constellation Scorpio near Antares . It has a brightness of 9.0 mag and an angular expansion of 7.4 arc minutes .
The object was discovered on May 22, 1784 by William Herschel (listed as NGC). Rediscovered on September 8, 1887 by William Henry Finlay (listed as IC).
