NGC 6152 is an open cluster of Trumpler type II2m in the constellation square at the southern sky . It has an apparent magnitude of 8.1 mag and an angular expansion of 25 arc minutes . The cluster is around 3,400 light years from the solar system and is estimated to be 450 million years old.
The object was discovered on July 8, 1834 by John Herschel .
