Rick Master and Commissioner Bourdon are kidnapped by an alien whose job is to track down some typical human specimens for research, which leads to all sorts of entanglements with other comic characters and finally ends up on the roof of the Le Lombard house in Brussels.

On the occasion of the 40th birthday of Tintin magazine , this sequel was created, in which every draftsman could insert his own comic figure into the story on one page. The sixty-page story was published in Tintin between 1985 and 1986 and was inserted by Lombard in 1986 in the volume L'Aventure du journal Tintin - 40 ans de bandes dessinées by Philippe Goddin .
