Liam Aiken (born January 7, 1990 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Liam Aiken was in January 1990 in New York City in the US state of New York born. He made his debut in a commercial for the Ford Windstar . On stage, Liam made his first seven years in Broadway -Stück A Doll's House on. He had his first film role that same year as Parker Posey's son in Henry Fool . His first leading role was the role of Ben Harrison in side by side with Susan Sarandon as the mother. He also starred in 2002 with Tom Hanks as a father in Road to Perdition and in 2003 the main character Owen Baker in the film Mission to Animals . After the film was finished shooting, he received a present from the film crew: a dog he named Kes in reference to an earlier English film . He had his most popular role to date in the youth film adaptation of Lemony Snicket, starring Jim Carrey . There he played the orphan boy Klaus Baudelaire . As the originally intended Harry Potter actor, he was eventually replaced by Daniel Radcliffe , as Joanne K. Rowling insisted on a British actor.
