Limsdorf ( Lower Sorbian Limšojce ) is a district of Storkow (Mark) in the Oder-Spree district .

The districts Möllendorf and Schwenow am Schwenowsee belong to Limsdorf .

geography

Limsdorf lies east of the Grubensee , the Melangsee and the Springsee . The Grubensee in particular is known for its very good water quality . Both the Grubensee and the Springsee have natural camping sites, which enable various activities in nature. The eastern border of the Schwenow district is partially marked by the Blabbergraben . Here, however, already in the district of Görsdorf , the ground monuments Räuberberg and Blabbermühle are located . South of Schwenow follows the district of Werders , like Görsdorf a district of the municipality of Tauche .

The Reichardtsluch , which is traversed by the Schwenowseegraben, lies on the eastern Limsdorf district . Limsdorf was created as an anger village. The existence of the place can be proven since 1393.

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent community Möllendorf was incorporated.
