Lindsay Pulsipher (born May 6, 1982 in Salt Lake City , Utah ) is an American actress who is best known for her roles in the series The Beast and True Blood .

life and career

Lindsay Pulsipher was born in Salt Lake City , where she grew up as one of six children. As a child, she attended church with her parents often because they were Latter-day Saints followers of Jesus Christ's Church . Pulsipher quickly turned away from this belief.

Her mother inspired her to act. She first appeared in small independent film and television roles starting in 2000 , including A Touch of Heaven , a series that was shot in her hometown. After that, however, she moved to Los Angeles to gain a foothold in the acting business. After a few guest appearances, as in Dr. House , CSI: NY and Navy CIS , she was cast in a leading role alongside Patrick Swayze on The Beast in 2009 . A year later she took on the role of Crystal Norris in the third season of the series True Blood .

In addition to other guest appearances, such as in CSI: Miami , Justified and Criminal Minds , she was also seen in films, such as The Rambler or in the lead role in the film of the same name, The Oregonian .

She is distantly related to ex-US President Calvin Coolidge .
