The Gmina Lipusz is a rural community in kościerzyna county of Pomorskie in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Lippusch ; Kashubian Lëpùsz ) with 2611 inhabitants (March 31, 2011).

Geographical location

Lipusz is located southwest of Gdansk between Bytów (Bütow) and Kościerzyna (Berent) at the junction of the railway in Lipusz to Chojnice (Konitz) or to Bytów and Korzybie .

The rural municipality of Lipusz includes seventeen localities, which are assigned to eight villages (" Schulzenämtern "):
