Individual evidence
- ↑ According to the laws of the Hungarian state, Heiligenkreuz had to part with the St. Gotthard Monastery before a new abbot was elected. This separation, which the Hungarian government has repeatedly called for since the beginning of the 19th century, lasted two years. (Schachenmayr, formative professors, 2004)
