On this page the monuments of the Lower Franconian market Abtswind are compiled. This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update status as of April 15, 2020 and contains 39 architectural monuments.

Ensembles

Ensemble Hauptstrasse

The ensemble ( location ) encompasses the entire extension of the main street between the western and eastern gates of the former market fortification, which was built around 1605. The handsome place is a characteristic example of a Franconian wine-growing village. The street, which today opens roughly in the center to a market square, is flanked by mainly gable-top and two-storey wineries and farms from the 18th and 19th centuries. Century. The Evangelical Luth is part of it. Parish church , which is secluded and narrow, surrounded by Kirchgaden from the 17th to 19th centuries. Century, north of the main street at an angle to the market square , but optically affects the image of the street with its tower. Important are the market gates, which, as gatehouses with half-timbered upper floors, delimit the place from the outside. The western gate, which is dated 1605, reminds of the old ownership with the coat of arms of the Counts of Castell and the Cistercian monastery of Ebrach .
