List of German Masters Natural Clay Class

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The natural clay class is a valuation class at the German championships of the Federal Association of Spielmanns- , Fanfar- , Hörner- und Musikzügen e. V. ( acronym : DBV ). This national championship takes place every two years on the weekend of Pentecost . The club with the highest points receives the title "German Master".

Classification

The natural tone class of the DBV was divided into the "natural tone class traditional" and the "natural tone class extended" from 1971 to 1992 and since 2008 again. In both classes, only musical moves that play on natural trumpets are allowed. The exact division of the musical moves into the respective class depends on the line-up of the secondary instruments. In the traditional class, in addition to natural trumpets, only tenor drums and timpani are permitted, in the extended class, horns are permitted in addition to all percussion instruments. Again, no instruments with valves may be used.

The current regulations stipulate that each musical train presents pieces of music in concert style in front of a three-person jury. Different musical areas such as intonation , dynamics , rhythm , interplay, but also music. Overall impressions are assessed in the school grading system by each judge. The average of all rated grades gives the club's final score.

The successor to the DBV is the Interest Group of German Music Associations (IDM). Since 2014, the GCM (German Championship of Music) has been held every two years.

Official German Minstrels' Championships

The sponsor of the competition “Open Official German Championships of Minstrels” is the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Musikverbände e. V. (BDMV).

All natural brass instruments (with / without diverter valve) and all percussion instruments are permitted in the 3 natural ensembles. There is a division into two leagues for the cast group, which is determined by the level of difficulty of the music titles.

  • Concert rating 1st league (qualification required), music titles in difficulty categories 4–6
  • Concert ranking 2nd league (qualification required), music titles in difficulty categories 1–3

In 2007 the first German minstrel championship took place as part of the German Music Festival in Würzburg. Since then, these championships have been played every three years.
