List of rivers in Zimbabwe
This is a list of the rivers in Zimbabwe . The South African country Zimbabwe is roughly divided into two halves hydrologically by the Ovambo-Kalahari-Zimbabwe Fault, which runs from southwest to northeast . The catchment area of the Zambezi in the north is the most important with a good 50%. The south drains partly into the Limpopo and partly into the Save . In the far east there are small areas that drain into the Buzi and Pungwe and a small part in the west drains into the Makgadikgadi salt pans .
The Eastern Highlands form the Inyangani the " surge " of the country. Several rivers have their sources in this area.
